Handcrafted in strictly limited numbers, each Totem vehicle is an "opera," with design inspired by the golden era of 1960s racing and some of the most beautiful and successful Italian automobiles, given new life for the modern day through the latest materials and technology. Every vehicle is designed to be an art piece on wheels, from its unique aesthetics to its carbon-fibre monocoque and choice of modern gasoline or electric powertrains.
Now offered by Pfaff Reserve to Canadian clients, the Totem GT series sits at the crossroads of classic charm and advanced engineering. Three models are available to order: the Totem GT Super, Totem GT Sport Prototipo (SP), and Totem GT Electric.
Totem GT Super
Combining timeless design, top-notch performance, and mind-blowing appeal, the Totem GT Super is a flawless vision of a Gran Turismo. Faithful to the pure soul of a 1960s icon, it fuses instantly-recognizable Italian design with performance enabled by a carbon-fibre monocoque and a modern twin-turbo V6.
"Gloria," the beating heart of the Totem GT Super is a 2.8-litre twin-turbo V6, built from the ground up with an all-new, simultaneous direct- and indirect-injection system to achieve a power output of 640 hp and 655 Nm of torque. Weighing less than 180 kg, this race-inspired dry-sump V6 it is the most compact and lightweight twin-turbo V6 of its class. It drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox, delivering a 0-100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 245 km/h.
Faithful to timeless 1960s design, Totem preserves the original soul of an Italian legend, while standing out with exceptional modern craftsmanship and manufacturing processes -- from the largest, most visible components inside and out, to the development components you'll never see.
Totem GT Sport Prototipo (SP)
The ultimate evolution of the GT Super, the Totem GT Sport Prototipo (or SP, for short) is a radical, extreme interpretation of classic 1960s design with modern performance. Crafted
entirely in carbon-fibre, the GT Sport SP's bodywork has been widened by 130mm around the wheel arches. This allows for redesigned side skirts that integrate dual lateral exhausts developed in collaboration with German specialist Capristo; the exhausts are electronically valved to offer drivers complete control over the car's acoustic presence.
Removing the rear exhaust outlets makes way for a reimagined tail section, where sculpted outlets optimize airflow, and a larger diffuser increases stability at high speeds. To cope with the increased power and cooling demands, the front fascia now features a more pronounced lower intake, with functional vents integrated into the hood and front fenders to ensure thermal efficiency.
Re-engineered subframes mount revised suspension geometry and more extreme chassis dynamics from an electronically-adjustable suspension co-developed with ORAM -- allowing fully independent front and rear calibration with steering wheel controls. The driver's ability to adapt the suspension setup instantly to any condition gives the GT Sport SP a remarkable breadth of ability -- thrillingly dynamic but also comfortably usable.
At its core, the GT Super SP hosts a 3.2-liter twin-turbocharged V6 by Italtecnica, delivering 740 hp and 750 Nm of torque with the aid of a boost function activated from the steering wheel. A six-speed manual transaxle gearbox with open-gate shifter milled from solid billet remains faithful to Totem's purist philosophy. 0-100 km/h is dispatched in 2.8 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
Totem GT Electric
A vision of a modern and emissions-free Gran Turismo, the Totem GT electric fuses unique design, obsessive attention to detail, and a technological soul from the future of high-end mobility. It's an exceptional driving experience -- projected into the future.
While being faithful to the pure soul of Italian icons with its design, Totem imbues the GT Electric with an all-electric powertrain that will forever reset the expectations of those who think electric means boring. With 590 hp and 900 Nm of torque, the GT electric accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.
The electric power unit, controlled by a proprietary Totem ECU with OEM quality standards, features an integrated inverter with limited-slip differential, and features three driving modes -- D (Dynamic), N (Normal) and A (Advanced Efficiency). An 81 kWh battery resides in a proprietary aluminum honeycomb casing, and can be charged at speeds of up to 90 kW. With a full charge, the lightweight GT Electric can achieve a range of up to 500 km.
